Wickes

Works comprised of the construction of a new flagship outlet for Wickes, located in the heart of the retail sector in Crawley. With its modern glazed façade and unique architectural parapets the style of the branch was a first for Wickes and required value engineering to bring the scheme within the clients budget.

The scheme incorporated the use of SUDS and other sustainable features to comply with the Local Authorities planning policy requirements. In addition to our main appointment we were responsible for producing phasing drawings of the surface water drainage installation to ensure no interim flood risks existed on the brownfield site.
