Hall & Woodhouse Wichelstowe

Sitting on the banks of a canal, Hall & Woodhouse Wichelstowe is a modern gastropub and hotel operated by Hall & Woodhouse, the Dorset based brewer of Badger beer with 190 pubs throughout southern England.

Overall Architecture was provided by Mackenzie Wheeler Architects and Designers.

Along with piled foundations and beam and block flooring at ground floor level, the gastropub features a steel frame solution.

The four-storey hotel comprises a reinforced concrete frame with shear walls and transfer deck at ground floor with a steel framed solution above, with the steel frame providing support to composite floor slabs.
