At JPP, we pride ourselves on the use our of experience and expertise to identify key geotechnical and geoenvironmental risks allowing informed decisions for clients on the viability of sites and informing the investigation strategy. Working proactively with our clients enables us to minimize our client’s financial exposure at different stages of the development process.
Designing suitable and cost-effective site investigation strategies in accordance with best practice and current British Standards, relies on the experience of our engineers in understanding the history of the site and the potential site-specific complexities associated with geology, hydrogeology and landforms. In addition, we aim to work closely with our clients to understand the scope and nature of the proposed development to ensure the scope of site investigation works meets their development and design needs.
We also aim to support our clients throughout the construction phase of development, assisting where required in overseeing foundation excavations and bearing capacity checks. JPP undertake and provide reports for warranty providers detailing the compliance of foundation excavations and installation of heave protection measures where required.
