Hall & Woodhouse Crowthorne
Steel Frame Design
Hall & Woodhouse Crowthorne opened in early 2025 and is located on the edge of the village of Crowthorne in Berkshire, a gateway building to the Buckler’s Park residential estate and near to the beautiful 102-hectare Forestry Commission site of Buckler’s Forest. The building is operated by Hall &Woodhouse, the Dorset based brewer of Badgerbeer with 190 pubs throughout southern England.
The structure of the building combines a steel frame with a mixture of masonry and timber frame along with beam and block flooring at ground floor level, precast hollowcore planks at first floor level and timber posi-joists at second floor level.
Thanks to Mackenzie Wheeler Architects and Designers, who were the overall architects on the project, and to Liz Lean PR for these fantastic images.
