JPP were appointed mid-way through the construction of this prestigious residential redevelopment of the historically significant magistrates court in Banbury.

A former courthouse and subsequently police station, this building has been redeveloped for high-end apartments by Talbot Homes.

Key challenges for the scheme included maintaining five large chimney stacks at second floor and roof level for planning requirements, whilst developing new apartments directly beneath. Complex, permanent and associated temporary works were required to facilitate the Architectural layouts.

JPP provided a personal service as site support role where key activities through the temporary works stages required Chartered Structural Engineering experience to ensure safe, yet efficient sequenced works.

Thank you to Talbot Homes for the use of their images.
